Aalo, Oct 28: With the agenda of discussing issues pertaining to the development of DPDC Kamki, the college management committee conducted a meeting on Monday last chaired by Kamba ADC Rujum Rakshap.
Participating in the meeting, local MLA and Adviser-Home, Tax & Excise Nyamar Karbak exhorted all stakeholders to work unitedly for development of the lone college in West Siang district. While suggesting a revamp of the composition of the management committee through inclusion of more proactive members from Yomcha and Darak, he assured to take up construction of the college gate and children park before silver jubilee celebration of the college. Along with suggesting the building of a task force to prepare the roadmap for celebrating the silver jubilee in a befitting manner, Karbak extended gratitude to the Chief Minister and Education Minister for granting the science faculty and NCC unit in the college.
Principal Dr Rejir Karlo stressed on making adequate preparations both for silver jubilee celebrations and visit of the NAAC team which is due since 2013. ADC assured to extend necessary support to the college as and when needed and urged the committee members to work in a cohesive manner for its future development. DIPRO
