BOMDILA, May 6: District Planning Committee (DPC), West Kameng convened a meeting today here at the DC’s Conference Hall which was chaired by DC-cum-Chairman, District Panchayat Committee Karma Leki with the agenda of approving the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) of the district.

ADC Hq, DPDO, member secretaries of Gram Panchayats, heads of concerned departments, BDOs and PTAs attended the meeting. DPDO Dr Dechin Droka informed that the timeline for uploading of GPDP in eGram Swaraj portal is May 15, 2021. The DC informed the newly elected ZPMs that GPDP of West Siang has been prepared during the People’s Plan Campaign under Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas objective by involving all the line departments relating to the 29 Panchayat subjects listed in  Schedule XI of the Constitution. District Nodal Officer-cum-District Facilitator Shyani Dususow made a PowerPoint Presentation of the proposed schemes under GPDP in respect of all ZP blocks of the district.

The committee discussed and approved the GPDP after incorporating the inputs submitted by the member secretaries and annual action plan submitted by the BDOs. DIPRO
