TAWANG, Apr 10: Secretary, Ministry of DoNER Dr Inder Jit Singh along with other senior officers of the Ministry and state today arrived in Tawang for a three-day official visit. 
Accompanied by the officials, the Secretary visited the Tawang monastery and on the way inspected its ongoing underground cable laying works. On his way back he visited the ropeway between Chhamleng and Gyangong Ani Gonpa and finding it not functioning, asked the reasons from the concerned department. The under-construction site of the mega festival and multipurpose ground in Mentsemtse, High Altitude Stadium and the IPD ward of KDS District Hospital were also inspected by Dr Singh.
The Secretary, DoNER will conduct a meeting with the Chief Secretary and other senior officers on April 12 next. DIPRO
