ITANAGAR, Feb 14: 39th Mebo Assembly constituency MLA  Lombo Tayeng released an documentary on Adi tradition at Adi Pasi, Sibuk village, Upper Siang District on Saturday.
 The documentary is produced by  Nonggan Rukbo and organised under the aegis of Arunachal Pradesh film society (APFS). 
The film is about the indigenous Adi people and their unique culture and identity adorned with mythological chants, their philosophy of revering nature and their democratic courts, dance forms and practices.  
Speaking on the occasion, Tayeng stated that films are not only a medium for entertainment but also have become a tool for economic prosperity. 
While encouraging the makers, he also appreciated the enthusiastic filmmakers for creating such a platform.
The programme also witnessed a special appearance with short exhortation by   veteran filmmaker Darbom Tayeng, who is the producer and director of Aying Apong, a Adi film.
MLA 40th Mariyang Kanggong Taku,  Tatlom Pertin, President Adi Baane Kebang, Upper Siang District Unit, ADC Mariyang Dr. Monjuli Komut were present among others.
