BOMDILA, Mar 5: District Task Force, West Kameng today convened a meeting on Routine Immunization, Intensified Mission Indradhanus (IMI) and COVID-19 vaccination here at the DC’s conference hall under chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki.
In the report presented by DMO Dr Dondu Wange it transpired that the district has made a coverage of 95% in Routine Immunization (RI) and in Full Immunization (FI), 91% of the target has been covered so far. He also expressed concern over the low turnout ratio of the district’s health workers in getting the 2nd dose of Covid vaccine. “The process of Covid vaccination is incomplete if anyone fails to take the second dose,” he reminded. The DC urged the ASHAs and Anganwadi workers to cooperate with the Health department to achieve 100% coverage of RI, FI and COVID-19 vaccination targets.
MO I/Cs and the officials from ICDS, PHE were among others who attended the meeting. DIPRO
