BOLENG, Oct 23: GHSS Rumgong won the final match of the District Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament U-17 by  2-0 goals defeating  GSS, Boleng in the boys category and in the Girls category ,GHSS, Boleng defeated  GSS, Boleng by 2-1 goals.
The 9th and 3rd Edition of District Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament U-17 Boys &Girls was inaugurated by  Vijoy Tamuk, EAC, Pangin on October 20 last. 
12 teams from all Government Higher Secondary schools and Secondary schools of Siang  district participated in the event. Tachong Boko, HM, Marshall of the Tournament solemnized the oath to the players.
Talem Jamoh, DDSE, Siang graced the valedictory programme as Chief Guest and advised the budding football stars to focus on studies along with games and sports. Onil Taki, BEO narrated the detailed history of Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament.
