YUPIA, Jan 13: The 2-day District Level Quiz Competition-cum-Book Exhibition on Science and Mathematics under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA)- 2019-20 for Papum Pare concluded today at Upper Primary School, Emchi.
The event was conducted in two phases-Elementary Level on January 12 and Secondary Level on January 13. DDSE-cum-DPO, ISSE, Papum Pare T.T.Tara while highlighting the importance of Science and Mathematics in competitive examinations and daily life urged the students to give more emphasis on these subjects. 
In the Elementary Level segment, Government Secondary School, RGU campus won the 1st position.  Government Upper Primary School, PTC, Banderdewa clinched the 2nd position and Government Upper Primary School, Tigdo the third.  
In the Secondary Level segment the first three positions were won by Government Secondary School RGU campus, Government Secondary School, Karsingsa and Government Secondary School, Mani respectively.
The winners were awarded with mementos and certificates. Headmasters/teachers from various schools in the district and officials of the District Administration were present on the occasion.
