Itanagar, Aug 16:  Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Dharmendra observed that there is dire need to upgrade the digital connectivity of the state. 
Reviewing the e-governance projects in the  state, he told the department's officers not to compromise with the timeline of the projects and ensure that the projects are completed on time.
Addressing some issues raised during the meeting, the Chief Secretary told the department heads and the IT department who is spearheading the E-governance projects that 'problems will be overcome as we go ahead with the project implementation.'
CM Dashboard including SDG Indicators; e-pragati; e-geotagging; e-jansunwai; e-office at Directorates and Districts; e- Arunachal Atma Nirbhar Portal; e-Seva Portal, 4G Connectivity at villages and CO Headquarters; IFMS; e-DBT; e-learning in schools and others were reviewed in the meeting. These E-governance projects are part of the Budget Announcement of 2022-23 in which the financial year of 2022-23 was declared as the ‘year of E-governance’ in March 2022.

Principal Secretary Health & Family Welfare and Finance Dr. Sharat Chauhan, Secretary IT Anirudh S. Singh and other senior officers of Government of Arunachal Pradesh were present in the meeting.
