Anini, Jul 22: The District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting of Dibang Valley for the first quarter of 2020-21 financial year was conducted as per schedule on Tuesday last despite heavy monsoon showers. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa here at his office chamber, attended by MLA Anini Mopi Mihu and the district’s Head of Offices. DC reviewed all the centrally and state sponsored schemes being implemented in the district and after viewing the PowerPoint presentations made by respective departments emphasized on timely completion of all the projects adhering to qualitative requirements along with proper reporting. He also advised the Head of Offices for judicious use of funds and share with him their problems faced while implementation. The MLA while expressing contentment over posting of many new officers in the district including the DC, requested them to work for all-round development of the district and insisted on giving special emphasis for improving the health and education sectors besides other infra targets. Issues like road connectivity, internet facility, incessant rainfall and Covid-19 were raised. The MLA assured the members for early resolution of grievances and continued help from his end. DIPRO
