Indian delegation calls on Sri Lanka’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Interacts…
Anini, Feb 11: In preparation for the forthcoming 40th Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh, a coordination meeting was convened here today under the chairmanship of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Dibang Valley, Lijum Ete. The celebration is scheduled to be held at Jubilee Ground, Anini.
The meeting reviewed the arrangements and outlined responsibilities to ensure the smooth and dignified conduct of the programme. Circle Officer Pemiya Mikrow presented the agenda and briefed the members on key highlights of previous Statehood Day celebrations. She invited constructive suggestions to enhance the significance of this landmark occasion and to ensure wider public participation.
Addressing the meeting, the SDO informed that the Zilla Parishad Chairperson will attend the function as the Chief Guest. He further directed all Heads of Departments to submit recommendations for district-level awards to honour deserving officials and members of the public in recognition of their outstanding service and contributions to the development of the district.
The meeting was attended by administrative officers, Heads of Departments, officials, and Gaon Burahs, reflecting a coordinated and collective approach towards organising the 40th Statehood Day celebration in a befitting manner.
