ITANAGAR, Sep 3: Dr. Dheera Thapa, DDHS (GA) was given a warm send off today at the DHS Conference hall by the officers and staff of DHS on her retirement.
Dr. Thapa who did her MBBS from RIMS, Imphal joined Arunachal Pradesh Government Service as JMO (Junior Medical Officer) at District Hospital, Bomdila on 23rd January 1987. After a career spanning decades, she was promoted as DDHS (GA) at Directorate of Health Services from where she took voluntary retirement on 31st August this year.
Describing her as a gentle and sincere officer, Dr.M.Lego, DHS wished her all the best for a happy post-retirement life. Dr. Thapa, in her farewell speech exhorted all to work selflessly for the upliftment of the Health department in particular and Arunachal in general.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Reto Doye, DME, Dr. Emi Rumi, DFW, Dr. Hage Ambing, CMS, TRIHMS including officers and staff of the Directorate of Health Services.
