YUPIA, Dec 2: The District Task Force for Immunization (DFTI) meeting for IPPI ( Intensive Pulse Polio Immunisation) and COVID-19 vaccination drive held here at DC’s Conference Hall, Yupia today to discuss and review the performance of COVID-19 vaccination drive Har Ghar Dastak Abhiyan in Papum Pare District.
Chairing the meeting, Dr. Nikita Panggam, EAC Doimukh appreciated the fruitful discussion and assured that she will apprise the higher authority regarding the important points discussed during the meeting.
DRCHO Dr. Neyang Nitik gave presentation on forthcoming IPPI programme on 23rd January next year and presented overview of COVID-19 vaccination coverage report and Har Ghar Dastak Abhiyan in Papum Pare District. The officer asked the MO In- charges to submit the revised micro plan by 15th December. Speaking about lack of financial and other logistic support, she sought the cooperation from the district administration for successful conduct of IPPI and vaccination programme in the district.
Earlier, DMO In-Charge Dr. R.R.Ronya welcomed the participants and emphasised that discussion in the DFTI meeting should be result oriented. During the discussion, based on the Har Ghar Dastak Abhiyan, the house expressed concern over increasing numbers of vaccine refusal population in Doimukh administrative region and discussed about measures to create awareness through IEC activities involving PRI leaders, influencers and other innovative ideas to motivate and encourage the reluctant public to get themselves vaccinated.
