Itanagar, Dec 28: The District Health Society Review meeting cum District Task Force meeting for immunization (DTFI) was held today at Mini-secretariat, Naharlagun under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom which was attended by top health officials including representative from the World Health Organization.
Dr. D.Raina, CMS, TRIHMS asked all the participants to work with sincerity, honesty and dedication. He said that DTF meeting should be conducted more frequently.
The DMO Capital, Dr Mandip Perme while welcoming all informed that the purpose of the meeting is to have a detailed discussion on performance of programmes by respective programme officers and also informed about the status of Routine Immunisation and Intensified Pulse Immunisation in respect of Capital Itanagar.

Others officers also explained in detailed about performance of their respective programmes.
During the meeting, Dr. S Mishra,WHO RRT consultant Papumpare also shared her observation and advised all the MOi/cs to conduct Head counting/Household Survey properly which is essential for setting of service beneficiary targets of immunization, ANC registration, etc. for calculation and assessment of performance achievement.
Later, the DC asked all the officers and staff to work with sincerity and dedication. He said that the District Administration is ready to provide all kind of support. He also took stock of the issues/ problems of each health centre and assured to look into their grievances. He said that random surprise visits would be made to the health facilities to ensure that it is running smoothly for the convenience of the public.
