Itanagar, Jan 7: The Department of Education on Friday bade farewell to outgoing Commissioner (Education), Niharika Rai.
Education Minister, Taba Tedir while extending best wishes to the outgoing Commissioner on her new assignment appreciated her untiring efforts to improve the quality of education during her tenure as Commissioner.
Rai in her speech advised the Department to focus on the New Education Policy 2020(NEP) to improve the education system in the state. She regretted that she could not complete the policy and programmes which was to be undertaken in the Department during her short assignment as she was assigned with more workload with other departments too.
