AALO, Jul 26:In its continued effort to enrol young voters in the Electoral Roll as per the directive of Election Commission of India, the District Election Office had a detailed interactive meeting with students of government higher secondary school, Aalo today. 

In his keynote address, the West Siang District Election Officer, Gamli Padu said that government is very keen to enrol all eligible young voters to make them part of the democratic process. He exhorted the young voters to enrol their names and exercise their franchise for a strong democratic India.

The Circle Officer Election, Lijum Ete gave detailed deliberations on enrolment of names, value of being a voter, handling of EVMs, new guidelines of ECI, dates of enrolment, claims and objections, Dos and Dont’s etc through power point presentations.
