ITANAGAR, Jul 9:The United Organisation of Arunachal Pradesh (UOAP) has welcomed the decision taken by Chief Minister Pema Khandu to cancel the proposed examination and interviews of Junior Engineers of Rural Work Department and directing the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to take up the recruitment process.

Terming it historic, the organisation said that people have lost trust and confidence on departmental recruitment process and procedures.

CM has taken a right and historic decision to switch over the recruitment of 65 JEs post to Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) from RWD proposed examination, it said.

“People are happy and welcome the historic decision taken by the CM for the interest of unemployed engineers in particular and state as a whole. Now many economically challenged families and aspirants are hoping for quality and fair interview under the APPSC. Such bold decision to scrap departmental exam was needed to protect the interest of common public,” said Chairman, UOAP Atung Tana.

While condemning the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) for terming the state government decision to cancel JE interviews as immature, the organization said that it reflects the Congress party’s low vision for the welfare of the state and its people.
