Khonsa, Dec 24: Training for the Counting Supervisors/Counting Assistants of Tirap district was organised today here at the Bo-Peep Middle School.
Resource Person-cum-EAC Hakresha Kri conducted the training module in presence of DEO-cum-DC Tirap Taro Mize. Briefing the trainees, the DEO-cum-DC appreciated the district’s people for extending full cooperation to the DA, police, security forces and polling teams in making the elections successful and peaceful. He said that despite the tense situation in some hypersensitive polling stations, security forces led by SP Kardak Riba, CO 6Assam Rifles, Commandant 36 Bn CRPF handled the situation appropriately.
The Counting Supervisors/Assistants were imparted elaborate training followed by PPT, interaction session and issuance of identity entry cards. DIPRO
