Itanagar, Oct 26: A meeting was held at the office of Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom today to discuss regarding construction of State Highway from Chimpu Tinali (Old Gohpur Tinali) to Jotte, Papum Pare District. The meeting was attended by Pige Ligu, Deputy Commissioner, Papum Pare District, Yupia along with EE, PWD, Doimuk Division, Assistant Engineer (E), CED and other officers/Officials of PWD, Doimukh Division and Land Branch of DC Office.
The DC Papum Pare briefed about the purpose of the meeting. He informed that the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has directed the District Administration, Papum Pare to complete the construction of State Highway from Gohpur Tinali to Jotte at an early date.  
The Executive Engineer, PWD, Doimukh division informed that the meeting of all the stakeholders present was called as the area from Gohpur Tinali to Zoo Road Tinali falls within the territorial jurisdiction of the DC, Capital. He further informed that the blacktopping of the road is to be completed within this current Financial Year and utilities to be shifted accordingly.      
During the meeting, it was decided that construction/ Black carpeting of State Highway from Gohpur Tinali shall be taken up in phase wise manner. At first the stretch from Gohpur Tinali to Zoo Road Tinali shall be taken up. 
The utility shifting from Gohpur Tinali to Zoo Road Tinali to be completed within seven days.
Also, notices for eviction to be issued by the office of the Chief Estate Officer, Capital Complex by October 27.
It was also decided that Right of Way for construction of state highway shall be taken up in tandem with the existing central line. Eviction should be carried out as per the land allotment/ LPC issued in respect of the land on both sides of the existing road.
