Itanagar, Aug 4: The Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom visited the Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired at Chimpu today.
The DC lauded the school management for their dedication in running the school and also encouraged all the children and appreciated their talent in curricular activities.
The DC was also concerned about the land encroachment issue when informed by the Principal H Sharma and assured strict action and proper demarcation would be carried out.
The DC and team also inspected students who were being imparted training in weaving, handicrafts, computer, recycling of paper wastes into file covers, bags, etc.
Other highlights of the day was presentation of yoga by students and also various cultural programs by the students.
Later, the Principal Informed that a YouTube channel named Donyi Polo Stars is run by the school where various activities of the students are uploaded.
