Yingkiong, Sep 20: Officers and staff of the Deputy Commissioner Office Yingkiong bid  farewell to outgoing Deputy Commissioner Upper Siang, Shashvat Saurabh, who has been transferred to Itanagar.
In his farewell speech, Shashvat said that during his 8 months tenure at Upper Siang district he had carried out  public welfare works and various developmental activities  on mission mode to achieve maximum success so that  benefits could reach each and every corner of the district.
Speaking about his ambitious  project Upper Siang Tribal Museum (USTM) which could not be completed due to his untimely transfer, he  requested  all  Head of Offices, public and well wishers  to give continuous  support  so that it can be completed on time.
Shashvat who was instrumental in launching of e-office in  DC Office Yingkiong also spoke  on significance of continuing skill development activities besides keeping  themselves updated on vocabulary in official correspondences and  latest  developments in the field of information technology.
He also advised the officers and staff to maintain office decorum and work ethics in office and also asked staff engaged in Public Information & Facilitation Centre to work sincerely and  to continue the process to improve upon their services for the benefit of the public.
