LONGDING, Jun 8: Deputy Commissioner, Longding Bani Lego today visited Chanu village under Chubam Circle to take stock of the ongoing Out Reach Session (ORS) for COVID vaccination. 
While interacting with the medical officials engaged in the vaccination drive, he urged them to convince people to go for vaccination through proper counselling. The DC also interacted with the beneficiaries at the vaccination centre and asked them not to believe in rumours and fake messages on social media about Covid vaccines. 
Circle Officer Chubam Jananko Tingwa informed that all efforts are being taken for garnering public participation by involving the local leaders, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers and PRI members. A massive awareness programme in collaboration with various stakeholders is also being planned to ensure 100 % vaccination coverage in the Circle, she added.
The ORS is being organized by the District Administration in collaboration with the health department with an aim to provide vaccination to each and everyone in the district. DIPRO
