PASIGHAT, Feb 27: A routine District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting to review the progress of government schemes and projects being implemented in East Siang was convened on Friday here at the DC’s Conference Hall under chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr Kinny Singh.
While reviewing all the government schemes and projects currently under implementation by various departments in the district, the DC advised the stakeholders for ensuring submission of respective utilization certificates for enabling timely completion of projects and release of further funds. She also instructed the officers not to miss the period DLMC meetings and urged the elected panchayat members to put forward their views for facilitating smooth execution and monitoring of projects/schemes in their respective areas. Emphasising on transparency, the DC asked the implementing agencies to execute the schemes properly in a time-bound manner without compromising quality of works. The officers were also instructed to update the departmental portals timely which are being monitored at state and central levels.
