PASIGHAT, Nov 23: East Siang DC cum Chairman DLMC (District Level Monitoring Committee), Dr. Kinny Singh today took stock of the progress of ongoing Central & State sponsored schemes implemented in the district and asked for time bound completion as per target. She also called for proper coordination among the various departments.  The DC stressed that the valuable inputs & suggestions of the Zilla Parishad Chairperson , ZPMs , PMC Chairperson & PMC members  is crucial & must be duly reflected and noted the challenges being faced by the executing agencies.
The HoDs in their presentations highlighted the physical & financial progress of their respective departments.  Various connectivity & infrastructures projects   implemented by the PWD, Highways, RWD, WRD, UD & Housing, Power, PHE, departments in the urban & rural areas were also taken up during the daylong meeting. The DC also asked the service departments to introduce helpline numbers to redress the queries & grievances of the consumers/citizens.

Under Smart City initiatives, the DC also took stock of sewage management plans under which two plants are being taken up. Under Agri-horti & allied sectors, Singh reviewed progress of ongoing schemes including Atma Nirbhar Bhagwani Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Chief Ministers White Revolution, etc. She also reviewed various schemes under the Education sector.
