PASIGHAT, Aug 4: DC East Siang, Dr. Kinny Singh while interacting with the students and faculty members of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pasighat through an interactive webinar session on Tuesday took note of the network connectivity problems faced by them and assured to look into it with priority.
Encouraging the students to work hard towards achieving academic excellence, the DC appreciated them for sharing the difficulties being faced while pursuing online learning. The students shared that though online learning is not at par with traditional classroom teaching, they are doing their best to adapt to the new process. The DC was also briefed on the initiatives taken by the KV to make the online teaching-learning process effective during Covid pandemic and was informed that academic session for Classes II-XII has already commenced with online classes going on since April.
Lauding the teachers for their efforts in inculcating reading habits among students and utilizing all means to reach the last learner through online and offline modules, the DC suggested them to continue exploring innovative ways to make the teaching-learning process more effective.
When asked by the students about the success recipe for cracking Civil Services exams, DC advised them to focus on academic studies and simultaneously remain updated on current affairs. DIPRO
