As a pilot project in the state, paver block pavements for the PMGSY have been introduced in Ziro plateau. Out of the 22.64 Kms of the sanctioned road only 1.50kms is left to be completed before the deadline of March, 2022 which is a very good achievement by the Department of RWD, Ziro division.
Expressing satisfaction over the quality and the pace of work, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated all the engineers of the department for the excellent work.
Making a special mention on the PMGSY road from the BRTF road to the Shivlinga at Kardo, she said that,” The slippery hilly roads had always been a point of concern for the District Administration. But this paver block road is a blessing for all the devotees that flock to visit the Shivlinga.”
It is worth mentioning here that the Department of RWD under the guidance of Executive Engineer Gambi Karbak and JE Hage Monya has completed this patch of road almost five months before the deadline.
Deputy Commissioner also inspected the mini secretariat building along with the engineers of the PWD department. She interacted with the contractor and PWD officials and requested them to expedite the work.
