Yupia, Aug 31: Deputy Commissioner-Papum Pare, Pige Ligu who is also the Chairman of Juvenile Justice Board of the district on Monday inspected the office of the Juvenile Justice Board here and enquired about its present status in detail.
JJ Board member Kani Nada Maling and Probation Officer, District Child Protection Unit Tarh Nagu informed the DC about the difficulties in conducting case proceedings due to the dilapidated condition of the JJ boardroom and sought urgent attention of the District Administration. The team also urged him to make the JJ Board a model of its kind in the state. The DC assured to take up the matter on priority basis.
Chairman, Child Welfare Committee-Yupia Advocate Licha Tatam and District Land Revenue Officer accompanied the team during inspection. DIPRO
