KOLORIANG, Aug 24: The Deputy Commissioner Kurung Kumey, Kento Riba today distributed long lasting insecticide nets (LLINs) to the below poverty line (BPL) beneficiaries in presence of Ringu Takap , DIPRO Kurung Kumey.
While distributing the LLINs, Riba informed that the infected malaria patients in the district is 0.3% in the current year 2020, as per survey of District Programme Officer. He appealed the GBs, ASHA members and all the stakeholders to maintain sanitation in towns and villages for “malaria mukt Kurung Kumey”
in the year 2022. He also advised the ASHA members to distribute the LLINs to the real beneficiaries who are in the countryside. DIPRO
