ZIRO, Apr 9:  Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri, Kemo Lollen has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating condition of the 120 meter span Tamen Bailey bridge over river Kamle in Tamen, Raga block of Lower Subansiri district, after the Highway authorities took over this stretch of road from BRTF. 

Terming the bridge as the lifeline of Lower 
Subansiri and Upper Subansiri districts and strategically important from defence point of view, he has urged the concessionaire to initiate repair of this important bridge. 

The district administration during last monsoon season had repaired the Possa Bailey bridge and also maintained the road from Potin to Tamen despite financial constraints. But major repair work will be required for the Tamen Bailey bridge over mighty Kamle river before the onset of the monsoon, he further added.
