ITANAGAR, Jun 3: ICR Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom today in a virtual meeting interacted with the officers of various line departments wherein he took stock of their functioning amid the prevailing Covid situation.
As the state government has declared school vacation till June 15 due to the pandemic, the DC asked DDSE Mallo Yam Gollo to inform on issues requiring immediate attention. After being apprised by the DDSE regarding the damage caused to the schools due to the recent storms and incessant rain, the DC asked her to submit a detailed damage report. BEO Nabam Shelly informed that taking advantage of the current situation, various properties of the schools like benches, tables, fans etc. have been stolen by miscreants.
Many other issues including those related to the pandemic were also discussed during the meeting. DIPRO
