AALO, Sep 30: The Darak Circle in Siang district will host the 2nd Edition of Eco Tourism cum Angling
Festival from October 9-10, Yomjum Yomgam, senior Tour Operator cum Chairman Young Mission Adventure Club said. The event could not be conducted last year due to Covid-19.
The NGO will conduct it in coordination with Lodu Ao Welfare Society. The ecotourism and Angling Festival has objectives like riverine conservation, income and employment generation for unemployed youths, preservation of rich culture and heritage etc.
Eco tourism and angling will offer a wide range of ‘Catch and Release’ of fishes in the river. The exhibition stalls on local cuisine, ornaments, traditional weaves and local properties will be showcased in the two day-long event.
