ITANAGAR, Oct 6: MLA Raga, Tarin Dakpe flagged off an ambulance here today in presence of DC Kamle, Hengo Basar and DMO Kamle district Nani Rika.
Speaking to the media, Dakpe informed that the ambulance has been procured under MLALAD fund. There are some private ambulances on hire basis donated by various NGOs but this ambulance with basic life support will definitely bring relief, he opined.
He further appealed the denizens of Kamle to maintain all SOPS to contain the spread of COVID-19.
DMO said the ambulance will give support to the public especially during the pandemic. Besides shortage of technical staff, we have only three allopathic doctors and no drivers to run the ambulances specially during the pandemic. So we appeal the concerned authority to provide at least six drivers even of contingency staff so that emergency vehicles like ambulance can be run properly, stated the DMO.
Meanwhile, the DC also informed about various steps taken by the administration to contain the spread of the virus.
