Itanagar, Mar 22: The officers of District Administration Itanagar Capital Region led by Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom took pledge to save water while participating in the launch of Jal Shakti Abhiyan : Catch the rain by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today on the occasion of World Water Day through video Conference at DCs Conference Hall.
Later, the DC while highlighting the importance of water urged all to contribute in their own ways to save water. He also stressed on the importance of rain water harvesting which would go a long way in solving the problem of scarcity of water.
He also urged all to adopt ways to harvest rainwater along with other measures that would help save water.
