ITANAGAR, May 10: The Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar, Talo Potom convened a meeting with the officers of Tax and Excise department  to discuss various issues pertaining to the department like wine shops, beer bars, bonded warehouse etc. 
The DC said it is important to regulate the functioning of wine shops, beer bars and bonded warehouse and to check whether they are functioning in accordance with the guidelines especially those wine shops and bars along the Highways and near educational institutions.
He said regular raid should be carried out jointly by District Administration and Tax and Excise to check illegal selling of IMFL especially in Ghumties etc. and that the timings for opening of wine shops and bars are followed in letter and spirit.
