YINGKIONG, Apr 14: Upper Siang District Administration today carried out an eviction drive here at the Government Sericulture Farm as part of implementation of the eviction order issued by ADC-cum-Estate Officer, Upper Siang Kabit Apang.
The eviction drive was initiated as a counter-measure to thwart rampant encroachment in the said farm spread over an area measuring 16,700 sq mtr. CO-cum-Executive Magistrate Kenli Riba led the drive accompanied by a police contingent from Yingkiong Police Station headed by OC O. Tamut. Illegally erected barbed wire and bamboo fences were removed from the entire circumference  of the farm. DIPRO
