Khonsa, Nov 10: Students of as many as two Government Higher Secondary Schools and seven Government Secondary Schools in Tirap district will receive hand sanitizers, a consignment of which was distributed today by the District Administration to the respective Principals and Headmasters.
Handing over the sanitizers on behalf of the DA to the Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE) Hortum Loyi, the DPDO-cum-ADC Hq Kretkam Tikhak informed that the hand sanitizers were procured from Covid-19 management fund through the District Panchayat Development Officer. He also informed that sanitizers for the students of GHSS, Deomali and GSS, Soha will be provided by the Deomali Block and the households of the four assembly constituencies of the district will also receive the same.
The recipient schools were GHSS Khonsa and Borduria and GSS Dadam, Lazu, Kapu, Thinsa, Kolam, Government Town Secondary School, Khonsa and Government Pinewood Secondary School, Khonsa. DIPRO
