ITANAGAR, Jun 2:  Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex Talo Potom today chaired a virtual meeting in the evening from the CS Conference Hall of the Civil Secretariat attended by Capital SP Jimmy Chiram, DMO Dr Mandip Perme, Executive Magistrates, SDPOs and APCC&I representatives to discuss measures necessary to ensure a hassle-free progress of the ongoing Covid vaccination drive in the ICR.
Regarding administering of vaccine doses to those who are registered through the CoWin portal (online) and those who intend to avail the spot registration facility at CVCs, the DC informed that tokens will be issued. The plan for issuance of tokens to persons coming for vaccination according to sessions/slots was discussed in detail and it was decided that Executive Magistrates will be deployed at each CVC. The EMs were directed to ensure that Covid-appropriate behaviour is strictly followed at all centres. Vaccination is our top most priority right now and we should take all necessary measures to vaccinate each and every individual while maintaining SOPs, the DC stated.
The DMO informed that the timing for vaccination would be from 0830 hrs to 1700 hrs and the beneficiaries can avail both online registration and on-spot registration facilities at the following CVCs in the ICR- Karsingsa UPHC, TRIHMS  at Old Building of Art & Culture, Rakap UPHC, Itafort UPHC, RKMH, PHC Chimpu, PTC Banderdewa, Tago Memorial Hostpital Nirjuli and Borum HWC.
Vaccination will be carried out  for both the categories: 18-44 age group and 45. DIPRO
