Naharlagun, Mar 26: The District Administration, Itanagar Capital Complex, is conducting a 2-day training programme on Modern Survey Technologies, Digital Data Management, and Land Administration Systems at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Naharlagun on March 25 & 26.
The programme was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex, in the presence of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioners of Itanagar and Naharlagun, Assistant Commissioner (Judicial),DDMO ICC, DIPRO ICC, Town Planner ICC.
The initiative has been undertaken under the guidance of Balo Raja, Minister, Land Management, Civil Aviation & Urban Affairs, and with the support of Techi Kaso, Advisor to the Minister, as part of ongoing efforts to modernise land governance and strengthen digital record management systems in the Itanagar Capital Region.
During the inaugural session, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of adopting modern survey technologies such as RTK drones and enhancing structured digital data management practices to ensure transparency, efficiency, and accountability in land administration.
A key highlight of the programme was the soft launch of the e-Itabhoomi Portal, a centralized digital database for land records in the Itanagar Capital Region. The portal is designed to streamline land record management, improve accessibility of records, and facilitate faster administrative processing.
The training sessions covered RTK drone applications in land survey, online data management, digital storage protocols, and an overview of the Land Administration System in ICR. A special technical session on the LISA Portal highlighting digital revenue administration initiatives.
