Itanagar, Sep 29: The District Administration Capital Itanagar  carried out surprise checking of  wine shops on Tuesday. 
A team led by CO Itanagar along with the Police sealed four wine shops for operating beyond permitted time. They also seized IMFL items from nine shops/ ghumtis located at Abotani colony, E sector, C sector and along NH-415.
The Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar, Talo Potom has directed bars & wine shops not to run beyond permitted time. He informed that the checking would be conducted regularly to ensure strict adherence to timing. 
He has also sought the cooperation of the public and appealed to them to abide by the rules so that such exercises could be successfully implemented.
