KHONSA, Dec 20: District Administration, Khonsa carried out a crackdown on single use plastic as a preventive measure to control its misuse during various upcoming festivals and parties.
Approximately 150 kg of banned plastics like plastic bag, plastic disposal glass & plate, plastic spoon, ear buds, plastic gift wrap etc. were seized from various shops of the town. The team also distributed guidelines on how to phase out SUP items from the town.
