Itanagar, Sep 29: A virtual meeting to check the preparedness of conduct of Freedom 2 walk & Cycle as part of the celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was convened today by the Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom with the CEO Smart City Itanagar Dahey Sangno, Commissioner IMC Likha Teji, EAC Datum Gadi and a host of other officers.
The CEO informed that the events are being organised as part of the Gandhi Jayanti Celebration. He informed that both the events I.e, the Cyclothon with the theme freedom to cycle and Walkathon with the theme freedom to walk would be flagged off from Gandhi Udayan on the day and would culminate at DKCC.  
The cyclothon would be flagged off at 7am and the walkathon would be flagged off at 7.15 am.
The DC has appealed the denizens to come forward and participate in the event.
The events are being organised by Smart City Itanagar and District Administration Capital Itanagar in collaboration with State Narcotic Division Arunachal Pradesh.
Duties and responsibilities assigned for the successful conduct of the event were discussed in detail with all the stakeholders.
