NAMSAI, Dec 28: 186 BN CRPF today installed solar streetlights at Samuguri-I village in Namsai district as a part of its Civic Action Programme.
Janardhan Upadhyay, Commandant 186Bn-CRPF, Kumar Bijay Shankar Second-in-Command along with other officers, GBs and PRI members attended the event.
Extending gratitude to the 186Bn, CRPF, Gaon Burah, Samuguri Village, Tarun Ratan appreciated the CRPF for always extending helping hands for the welfare of the villages. He also urged the paramilitary force to support the fight against drugs.
Upadhyay informed that CRPF has been contributing to society under its CAP in different sectors under the supervision of the Ministry of Home. Besides solar lights, we also contribute to schools, community halls, and also contribute for the construction of woman toilets.
He also said that CRPF will always be at the forefront to support the villagers in its fight against drug abuse. With the support of local administration, CRPF will do its best to eradicate drug menace from society, the Commandant added.
