LONGDING, Feb 2: With the aim of strengthening the bonhomie between security forces and locals and as part of its continuing Civic Action Programme, 36 Bn CRPF today gifted various sports items to the students of Higher Secondary School Longding.
The intention behind presenting sports items was to generate interest in sports among students so that they can take it as a career in future. Second-in-Command CRPF Bhavesh Chaudhary, Assistant Commandant Mannu Tejaswi and the school’s Principal Lutni Perme were among others present on the occasion.
Badminton rackets, nets, shuttlecocks, volleyballs and nets, footballs and goal post nets, chess boards, ludo and carrom boards, skipping ropes, flying discs etc. were the sports items that were presented.
