LONGDING, Jan 29: With an effort to provide green and alternative sources of electricity in remote Longkai village of Longding district, 36 Bn CRPF today installed 5 solar street lights and distributed 42 solar lanterns to the villagers as part of its Civic Action Programme.
Commandant-36 Bn CRPF S.R Behura and Deputy Commandant M. S Yadav were present on the occasion. The villagers and the Village Chief have appreciated the CRPF for their work and have requested them to carry out similar civic welfare programmes. DIPRO
