Yupia, Jan 13: The 3rd DTFI meeting on Routine Immunization and Covid-19 vaccination for Papum Pare district was held today here at the DMO Conference Hall. 
Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu while expressing satisfaction over the district’s vaccination preparation, however, cautioned all the MO I/Cs that since the Covid-19 vaccine is new there may be apprehension among beneficiaries and as such proper education and management of AEFI etc. will be necessary. In order to motivate and encourage vaccination among frontline workers he directed the DMO to provide conveyance for the ASHAs/AWWs residing in far-flung areas and appealed to all stakeholders to coordinate with the Health department. 
Earlier, the DMO informed the house on the number of trainings carried out at different Blocks and the number of dry runs/mock drills carried out at various facilities and divulged that only one PHC was left for the mock drill. Action taken report of the previous DTFI and future course of action was briefed by the DRCHO. Progress made on AB-PMJAY beneficiaries' verification in the district by the ASHAs was also discussed in the meeting. DIPRO
