ITANAGAR, Nov 28: With the death of a 50-year old male COVID patient from Innao in Changlang district, the state’s Covid-19 casualty tally reached 51 on Saturday.
According to the State COVID-19 Bulletin, the said patient who expired on Friday was suffering from alcoholic liver ailment, besides being Covid positive. In terms of daily addition, 31 new cases were added on Saturday, out of which 7 were in the ICR. Recoveries, however, outnumbered the new infection count and 53 were recorded on the day with the ICR having the most with 18.
As of now, total active Covid cases of the state stand at 888 and 15323 have been discharged after full recovery.
