ITANAGAR, Aug 3: Covid situation in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday was largely stress-free with no casualties and recoveries continuing to be bigger than fresh cases.   
Recoveries, New Cases, Sample Collection
Of the 319 new cases (asymptomatic 183; symptomatic 136) recorded on the day, the first 5 districts were ICC (88; positivity rate has dipped from previous day’s 15 % to 9%), Papum Pare (44), Lower Subansiri (35), East Siang (19) and Lohit (16). West Siang recorded 7 new cases (5% positivity).  
475 new recoveries were recorded across the state taking the overall tally to 45298. The first 5 districts were ICC (110), Lohit (83), East Siang (54), Papum Pare (35) and Lower Subansiri (25). Of the 5746 samples collected from across the state, the highest was from the ICC (1034) followed by Papum Pare (750). After declining further over the previous day’s figure, the total number of Covid active patients is now 3352.    
Vaccination
In the '18 years and above' age category, 2037 beneficiaries took their 1st jabs (64 % coverage so far) and 1227 their 2nd  jabs (17% coverage).   
Occupancy status
Till August 3 (8 pm), there were 51 at DCH Chimpu, 22 at SQF Lekhi, Nil at DCHC Midpu, 3 at DCH Pasighat and 17 at DCHC.
