ITANAGAR, May 31: After witnessing daily casualties for several days at a stretch, no deaths due to Covid were recorded in the state on Monday.
A total of 322 new cases were added  (asymptomatic 192 symptomatic 130).  ICR,  West Kameng,  Changlang, Namsai and Lower Subansiri  and were the first five  in terms of new caseloads with 49, 37, 29, 24 and 23 respectively. Upper Siang had the highest positivity rate with 27%. After the rise,  active Covid cases till 8 pm on Monday were 3755. It is after many days, recoveries surpassed fresh cases with a total of 350 on the day. ICR 84, Changlang 36, Lohit 33 are  the first 3 districts. With these new recoveries, the state’s discharge tally is now 23402.5552 samples were also collected on the day from across the state.
Till date Arunachal Pradesh has seen a total of 27272 Covid cases and 115 casualties. Occupancy status at the CCCs as of May 31- 44 at DCH Chimpu, 36 at SQF Lekhi, 2 at DCHC Midpu, 4 at DCH Pasighat and 33 at DCHC.
