ITANAGAR, Jun 23: The state on Wednesday added 252 new Covid cases although there were no casualties.
Of the  252  fresh cases (asymptomatic 156; symptomatic 96), the ICR continued to top the tally with 53  followed by Lohit 23, West Kameng 21, Namsai and Changlang 19 each, Upper Subansiri 15 and East Siang and East Kameng 14 each. Of the 233 new recoveries, ICR (54), West Kameng (37),  Kurung Kumey (33), Papum Pare (27) and Changlang (17) were the first 5 districts. The current load of Covid active cases in the state is 2567 and 31189  individuals have so far recovered with 160  succumbing  to the virus. 5273  samples were collected from across the state on the day with a maximum from the ICR (1097).
Occupancy status at the CCCs till Wednesday evening (8 pm): 39 at DCH Chimpu, 25 at SQF Lekhi, nil at DCHC Midpu, 7 at DCH Pasighat and 22 at DCHC.
