ITANAGAR, Sep 29: The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP), has mourned the untimely demise of Tasso Sira, former Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) under the Department of Forest & Environment who expired on Monday.
Born on 26th September, 1962 at Hari Village of Ziro, Lower Subansiri District, late Tasso Sira joined the state government service in 1985 as Range Forest Officer (RFO). Presently, he was under transfer from Banderdewa Forest Division to Sagalee Forest Division as DFO.
Remembering him as a sincere and dedicated officer, who was also active in social & cultural activities in society, the Confederation said "The vacuum created in his department and society due to his demise cannot be filled soon."
Late Sira is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.
CoSAAP also appealed the State Government particularly, the Department of Forest & Environment to render immediate relief services, including providing a compassionate job appointment to the bereaved family.
