ITANAGAR, Mar 19: Itanagar Municipal Corporation today conducted its 3rd Business Meeting here at its office, chaired by mayor Tame Phassang and attended by the corporators, IMC Commissioner C Chukhu and engineers.
Chairing the meeting which discussed various issues related to the developmental plans and policies of the IMC, Phassang reiterated the urgency of working together, putting aside party affiliations. Denizens have many expectations from us and we all have to roll up our sleeves to take on the challenges, he said, while appealing to the corporators and engineers to deliver 100 per cent quality services to the denizens. “If the corporators and their teams execute quality works on projects that are beneficial for the masses, more funds will be allotted for the next projects,” the mayor assured.
The members also discussed about the renovation of Ganga Clock Tower and the proposal for launching a dumping zone and non-biodegradable waste and cleanliness competition among the wards.
